📄 Job Description

As a Business Development Manager at ChainGPT, you will be a pivotal force in expanding our market reach and fostering key relationships. Your responsibilities will encompass:
  • Strategic Sales & Partnership Development:
    • Identify, engage, and successfully close deals with B2B clients, including pre-TGE, post-TGE, and Top 300 CMC projects.
    • Champion our white-label solutions: Launchpad, Vesting Portal, Staking Portal, and AI Agent Launcher.
    • Manage the full sales cycle: from initial outreach, qualification, and discovery to demos, proposal creation, negotiation, closing, and seamless onboarding.
  • Lead Nurturing & Pipeline Development:
    • Conduct structured discovery calls to thoroughly assess prospect fit and convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
    • Cultivate enduring relationships through consistent, value-driven follow-ups and strategic communication.
    • Ensure smooth transitions to product and technical teams post-close for efficient delivery.
  • CRM Management & Reporting:
    • Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities, pipeline health, and key performance indicators (KPIs) within CRM platforms.
    • Develop accurate forecasts for deal velocity and revenue projections, proactively identifying any pipeline bottlenecks.
    • Provide leadership with actionable strategic insights derived from partner feedback and dynamic market trends.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with the Head of BD, Leadgen, and Marketing teams to continuously refine our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), messaging strategies, and outreach cadences.
    • Contribute actively to Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and Account-Based Selling (ABS) campaigns with structured feedback and critical prospect intelligence.
    • Liaise effectively with Product & Engineering to ensure that client expectations are perfectly aligned with our delivery capabilities.
  • Market & Product Intelligence:
    • Conduct comprehensive research on competitors, market shifts, client pain points, and effective industry go-to-market tactics.
    • Offer structured feedback to influence and shape product roadmap priorities based on real-world demand and emerging needs.
    • Stay abreast of Web3 hype cycles, token trends, advancements in AI-powered sales tools, and automation innovations (e.g., Zapier, n8n, Make.com).

📌 Requirements

We are seeking a proactive and strategic individual with a deep understanding of the Web3 space. Key qualifications include:
  • 3–5+ years of robust experience in Business Development or Direct Sales, specifically within high-ticket tech sales.
  • A proven and demonstrable track record of successfully closing high-value B2B deals or significantly driving revenue for top 500 CMC projects.
  • Strong familiarity with White-label platforms or customizable SaaS infrastructures is highly preferred.
  • A profound understanding of Web3 ecosystems, encompassing L1/L2 networks, DeFi, NFTs, wallets, DAOs, and the unique challenges faced by builders.
  • A strategic mindset coupled with strong sales fundamentals, exceptional structured communication, and persuasive negotiation skills.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams, particularly with technical teams and leadership.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with AI tools, Zapier/n8n/Make.com automations, or developer-first sales motivation.
