As an indispensable business partner to our executive team and functional leaders, you will own the entire planning lifecycle from strategy to execution. Key responsibilities include:

• Operating Model Management: Serve as the primary owner and manager of the Company Operating Model, which functions as the annual plan and driver-based financial blueprint.
• Forecasting Leadership: Lead quarterly and rolling forecasting processes, ensuring strong alignment between financial projections and key operational metrics.
• Planning & Accountability: Drive both top-down strategic resource allocation and bottoms-up operational planning to enforce budget rigor and executive accountability.
• Advanced Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate strategic initiatives, including ROI analysis for infrastructure, product development, and expansion projects.
• Profitability & Margin Analysis: Lead in-depth analysis of margins and profitability, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying critical cost drivers.
• Strategic R&D Partnership: Act as the financial liaison to Engineering and Product leadership, managing operating budgets and optimizing R&D investment efficiency.
• Executive Reporting & Strategic Analysis: Develop and present executive-level financial materials, delivering in-depth strategic analysis on company performance, risks, and future fiscal planning.
• Process & System Automation: Lead initiatives to automate and integrate FP&A systems, enhancing data quality, accelerating reporting, and increasing planning efficiency.
• Team Development & Mentorship: Cultivate a high-performing FP&A team by mentoring junior members and promoting a culture of intellectual rigor and curiosity.

We are looking for an individual who can elevate the FP&A function to support sustained hyper-growth. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience: A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), ideally within a high-growth technology or FinTech environment.
• Financial Modeling: Expert-level proficiency in advanced financial modeling, with a proven ability to build and maintain core Operating Models.
• Technical Organization Support: Mandatory strong experience supporting a technical organization, specifically in modeling R&D, infrastructure, and engineering headcount/capital expenditures (capex).
• Technical Skills: Required advanced proficiency in Excel/Sheets and a strong command of SQL for effective data extraction and manipulation.
• System Experience (Desirable): Experience with the implementation or optimization of FP&A systems (e.g., Runway, Mosaic, Anaplan, Adaptive).
• Strategic Ownership & Executive Presence: Proactively identify complexities, define comprehensive solutions, assume full accountability, and confidently articulate sophisticated financial analysis to C-level leadership.
• Data-Driven Insight: Utilize advanced data query skills and sophisticated modeling techniques to transform ambiguous information into clear, decisive, and actionable business insights.
• Process Architecture & Scalability: Strong bias for action, focused on designing and implementing scalable systems and processes for high-velocity operations and sustained growth.
