📄 Job Responsibilities

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our technical landscape. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Designing and implementing scalable microservices using Python 3.10+ and FastAPI.
  • Building robust event-driven systems utilizing Google Cloud Pub/Sub for real-time data processing.
  • Developing high-performance RESTful APIs to power our core applications.
  • Creating efficient data processing pipelines for various data sources.
  • Implementing machine learning integrations for advanced fraud detection and risk scoring.
  • Establishing sophisticated database strategies with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy 2.0, and Alembic migrations.
  • Designing event-driven workflows leveraging message queues and asynchronous processing.
  • Implementing comprehensive observability using OpenTelemetry, Sentry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Integrating with leading data warehouses, including Snowflake and BigQuery.

📌 Candidate Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive individual who meets the following minimum requirements:
  • Strong expertise in Python 3.10+ with deep understanding of async/await patterns.
  • Proven experience with FastAPI and Pydantic for robust API development.
  • Proficiency in SQLAlchemy 2.0, including async support and complex ORM relationships.
  • Extensive knowledge of PostgreSQL, including advanced query optimization and database design.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively, while also excelling as a collaborative team player.
