As a Senior Java Engineer in our KYC Technology Team, you will be instrumental in developing and scaling a robust Know Your Customer (KYC) platform, ensuring a smooth and secure customer onboarding experience for millions of users globally. This role demands a commitment to engineering excellence and collaborative problem-solving. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into high-quality, maintainable services with comprehensive tests.
• Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks through tuning, and efficiently troubleshoot incidents to maintain system stability.
• Develop and uphold high standards of technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all team members.
• Champion best practices in software development, writing clean, efficient, and well-tested code.
• Foster a culture of mentorship and knowledge sharing, collaborating effectively with other engineering teams and guiding junior colleagues.

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Java Engineer with a strong foundation in distributed systems and a passion for tackling challenging technical problems. Key qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in designing and building high-throughput, distributed applications.
• Expertise in core Java and extensive experience with the Spring Framework.
• Proficiency in MySQL, coupled with familiarity with at least one NoSQL database.
• Strong command of distributed system design principles, including experience with messaging middleware and its underlying architecture.
• A proven quick learner, capable of performing exceptionally well under pressure and adapting to fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams across diverse time zones.
• Bonus Points: Experience in performance tuning (JVM, SQL, RPC, etc.) and knowledge of KYC or Compliance domains.
