As our Accountant Generalist, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Luxor’s financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing comprehensive financial reports for both internal stakeholders and external compliance.
- Performing general ledger accounting, detailed financial reporting, and insightful analysis.
- Assisting with the efficient monthly close process and performing thorough balance sheet reconciliations.
- Supporting the establishment and rigorous enforcement of proper accounting methods, policies, and principles across the organization.
- Aiding in the development of robust financial processes to support new business requirements and operational expansions.
- Proactively identifying areas for improvement in existing systems and procedures, and suggesting corrective actions.
- Being ready to engage in a wide range of operational accounting tasks, contributing flexibly to the team’s needs.
📌 Requirements
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented accounting professional with the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an active CPA certification are essential.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting, with a preference for experience gained at a Big 4 firm.
- Demonstrable experience with audit processes and strong knowledge of GAAP reporting.
- Proven experience with U.S. financial reporting requirements.
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python is preferred, indicating an analytical and tech-savvy approach.
- Practical experience with cryptocurrency wallets and transacting via Blockchains.
- Experience working effectively with multiple legal entities under diverse legal structures and jurisdictions.
