As a Blockchain Engineer at ZIGChain, you will be instrumental in building the core infrastructure that powers a decentralized, interoperable financial future. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and optimizing cutting-edge blockchain solutions using Cosmos SDK, Ignite, and IBC.
• Architecting scalable and secure systems that form the backbone of ZIGChain’s ecosystem.
• Building and enhancing interoperability with other blockchains, ensuring seamless IBC integration.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate and push the boundaries of decentralized finance.
• Maintaining and improving blockchain performance, security, and efficiency through continuous iteration.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about blockchain and distributed systems, with a strong ownership mentality and a drive for technical excellence.

Must-Haves:

• 10+ years of software development experience, with more than 3 years specifically in Go.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cosmos SDK, Ignite, and IBC, including creating Cosmos Modules in Go.
• Strong system architecture skills, emphasizing scalability, security, and interoperability within blockchain.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams.
• Passion for automation, continuous improvement, and delivering clean, robust code.
• Self-directed and comfortable working autonomously in remote environments.

Cool-to-Haves (Bonus Points):

• Experience integrating with Axelar for cross-chain communication.
• Knowledge of token migrations and smart contract execution.
• Hands-on experience with oracle integrations.
• Proficiency in Rust and Python.
• Experience launching testnet/mainnet and implementing monitoring solutions for blockchain.
• Experience with Solidity and Evmos.
