As a Senior Front-End Engineer specializing in Client Onboarding and Compliance, you will be a key contributor to our product engineering efforts. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend and frontend systems that ensure a seamless and secure client onboarding experience.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deeply understand regulatory compliance requirements and optimize business processes.
• Developing and rigorously testing software solutions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and robust security across all applications.
• Monitoring and analyzing data to proactively identify potential compliance issues and implement timely corrective actions.
• Providing expert technical support and troubleshooting for compliance software, resolving issues promptly to maintain operational integrity.
• Staying abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices in compliance software development to keep our systems cutting-edge.
• Maintaining comprehensive compliance software documentation and creating effective training materials for end users.
• Writing clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code primarily in JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
• Optimizing existing systems for maximum performance, reliability, and security.
• Actively contributing to architectural decisions and shaping the technical strategies for our platforms.
• Participating in thorough code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and championing adherence to our high coding standards.

We are looking for a dedicated and technically proficient engineer with a passion for compliance and fintech. Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, particularly with React and Node.js, and a solid grasp of modern web development principles.
• Proven experience building robust APIs (REST, WebSockets) and scalable microservices.
• A solid understanding of designing scalable and secure system architectures.
• Familiarity with leading cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of Bitcoin and the broader cryptocurrency trading ecosystem.
• Experience with TypeScript, Kubernetes, and developing real-time systems.
• A background in fintech, crypto, or trading platform development.
• Ability to support high traffic, high-performance public-facing web applications.
• Prior experience with third-party integrations for client onboarding, such as Sumsub or Onfido.
• Experience with the Travel Rule Protocol.
• Familiarity with Sardine and Zendesk platforms.
